    Okay, I've never seen a fishing lure like this. I got all these from a young boy in a yard sale last year.
    So, I would like to know what it's used for and maybe thje date.

      Hello, I don't know how old it is but I know it is for fishing close to or in the reed without getting caught in it. Different types of this are still made. Have two of them myself in my fishing box.
