This was another nice find in a box packed and left for eighteen months or so. It has a textured surface often called crackle though I think it's moulded rather than the crackle deliberately created by a controlled temperature shock. No doubt someone will tell me, right or wrong!

I think it looks like a temperature shock crackle, and not a molded surface texture. Love the color....

I would add that it seems, at least to me, that if it was a molded crackle, the pattern would not be found on the underside of the piece.

I had thought that temperature shock crackle resulted in random single line cracks.

I'm not making a case for this vase being Kralik. However I have numerous moulded Kralik rose bowls with textured surfaces and the texture routinely continues from the wall to the base. So I wouldn't regard that as unlikely.

Wow, Peggy - I had no idea it was so big! With that lovely color, I am sure it makes a real statement! :)

lol, Michelle, it does make a statement. It announces itself as, the cuckoo in the nest! I still like it however.....

It's a lovely raspberry treat Peggy.
It would be perfect with flowers in it, and as you know that is not true for lots of glass.

Yes, Karen, white flowers and green leaves would suit, I think :)
