Here is a 5 3-4"H bluegreen glass dolphin cresting a wave, designed by Jon Saffell for Fenton Glass in 2000 for their 95th anniversary, it was item #5137

He's so beautiful- I adore his lovely watery green/turquoise colour it's very...south Seas maybe? And his pose makes him look so sleek and natural(usually dolphin statues have a very curved back) but yours doesn't, he's sculpted like he's riding the crest of a wave very skilfully!
You can never go wrong with a dolphin, they seem to give a lot of people joy !~

Thank you so much Lauren for the wonderful compliments and insights, this dolphin does have the color of tropical waters, and you are totally right that he seems to be less curved and as if he has just popped up from that wave, it's a pretty good dolphin image - I have seen them in outdoor lagoons at Hawaiian hotels where you are allowed to swim with them & they kind of shoot straight up as you walk past as well
Thanks Ken for the fab compliments, yes I think this dolphin is enjoying his little swim! This is one of those colors that looks bluish in some light and light green in others, so light real is a perfect description, thank you!
Oh yes Phil, the dolphin is such a gentle and joyful animal and everyone from children to adults love them. I think Fenton did a very good job here with the animal shape as well as his tail on the cresting wave. Many thanks as ever for your fantastic comment :)
