What a beautiful scrap cloth quilt! My great-grandmother, Julia Olsen (1881-1981), created this some time in the 1920's from random scrap cloth left over from making all her children's clothes. Love the bold, still -striking colors that are now (almost) some 100 years old!

These are called" Crazy Quilts" with all hand done embroidery feather stitches . Beautiful !
