Awh- he's so adorable! And he's a rather autumnal animal I think too?! I love the fact he's a red squirrel too- you don't see many of them about? He looks like he's just bounced down from a tree and has just been interrupted whilst collecting acorns( they seem to be so light on their feet anyway!)
Darn squirrel's, I just had to go scare them off one of my bird feeders. lol. My fault though, i hung it right off of a tree so easy for them to get to. I moved it now but the are smart animals.
Awesome little squirrel!
Many thanks everyone for the love

Thank you Lauren my friend for the great praise & always on target observations - yes squirrels are primarily known as autumnal creatures but we see them here year round, esp now when they are burying their winter hoard and leaving all sorts of pockets in lawns lol :) You're right ours are mostly grey or beige not red, and are they ever light on their feet they seem to zip by and hop up trees so quickly
Thanks Ken for the great compliment, I was very excited to find this old Fostoria squirrel as he was in my glass book, it also came in green but thought the amber was more natural for a squirrel. You know, his big tail is so heavy it kept falling off balance as I tried taking the pix, I think Fostoria went a bit overboard on the bushy tail!
Lol iggy, I know EXACTLY what you mean about squirrels at bird feeders, I had those for yrs, no matter which type you get they always manage to jump on it or else pick up the discards birds throw out on the ground. When I would go fill the feeder on my patio, they would be hanging around on the trellis, and when I would jump at them to chase them, they would act like they were running away then turn right around to watch me! Smart animals indeed, thanx for your super comment & reminding me, it was so much fun to watch the action at the feeder
Thank you so much MrsT for your wonderful compliment, I love this little squirrel because it has a very well defined face esp the eyes, and glad that you liked it too
Thank you very much for the love
