    I found this old tintype photo in an old briefcase along with old documents and deeds of land in an abandoned house. The gentleman look familiar but I have searched and haven't been able to identify them. Still really cool photo.

      Looks to be an 1880s- 90s period tintype.

      Don't waste your time trying to ID-- without some sort of documented provenance or name on the back, you are wasting your time. Additionally, "looks like" identifications out of the blue seldom are accurate unless the SAME photo or photo from the SAME SITTING are found with provenance or identification.
