Whether any of us or not will ever really wanna remember...one way or the other all us in the USA are probably receiving these exact postcards in their mailboxes. Mine got here today.
SO MANY things that could also be added to/commented upon/whatever the h*ll...that which remains overall is seemingly the fact that "we're all going thru it right now TOGETHER", whether we wanna or not, anybody's personal politics and all such nonsense completely aside.
Collective LAUGHTER however, generated by whoever wherever, certainly can't hurt any of us. So along with these pics, I'll (re-)include a couple YouTube links I came across today, that I otherwise just tagged onto the end of a comment to one of Bill's recent lovely "springtime cheer" posts too. With NO doubt "Randy Rainbow" has his own very clear perspective on today's society...whether it matches (even remotely) any of y'alls or not, I hope y'all can somehow still see at least a little bit of what I (myself...just me) otherwise see as rather remarkably brilliant satire/comedy.

STAY SAFE AND STAY WELL all y'alls...even if 6' from each other...?? <sigh>
Stay safe :)
Thanks Now I am relieved there is a future
I got mine also but didn’t think of it’s collectibility....gotta go retrieve it!
I don’t know if it is considered a political campaign advertisement paid for with our tax money or if it’s public health safety measures.....likely many people trashed it because it looks like political junk mail.
Not having children, and being almost 50, I never think about what might be a future collectible. I’ve always gathered the already-old things that call out to me. I guess it takes a different mindset to think about the future, and preserve for the next generations. Bravo!
Watchsearcher.... It is CDC guidelines in the form of a trump politicized mailing. Sadly, if it had said CDC guidelines on the front in large letters, many people may have read it instead of throwing it out.
to little, to late by a fellow who couldn't care less.
To Trey, Vynil33rpm, Watchsearcher, Deepseas72, welzebub, and Skipuppy -- my most HEARTFELT THANK YOUS for all y'alls most poignant comments. I agree with all y'all (but ain't EVEN gonna go further with all that, here) for the most part...but that also don't really matter since we've all gotta get thru it anyway (hopefully?) TOGETHER. (whether we wanna or not. is there another option, I'd love to see something like THAT on the evening TV news...???)
Deepseas, I especially appreciate your thoughtful comment. I've already passed that "50" milestone myself a few yrs ago now, also with no kids (beyond Woda kitty who is also, legally, just so much more "personal property"?) to ultimately inherit (dispose of, whatever...) all this junk I've otherwise spent most of my life "collecting" and filling my house with, just because it amuses me for any odd reason...
I still remain somewhat mentally conflicted that I took the pics and showed this stupid postcard here in the first place...but your comment in particular comforts me with that. Let us all simply hope that there will be somehow, as indeed Planet Earth tends to work itself one way or the other, that there will be "future generations" to clean up after any/all of us get to pushing daisies...
:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
More THANKS (I guess I never managed to finish listing?) to Brunswick, Watchsearcher, Trey, Vinyl33rpm, fortapache, vetraio50, Deepseas, & yougottahavestuff just for tapping your <love it> buttons.
Time will tell, I suppose, whether this particular little scrap of thin cardboard actually deserves ANY of our attention whatsoever and in whatever form...
virtual <HUGS> to all y'all . . . :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
Never got one of those so I guess I'm Safe!!
