The King Cole Trio was somewhat unique among jazz groups in that they played without a drummer. Made up of Nat Cole on piano, Oscar Moore on guitar, and Wesley Prince on bass, and in this case joined by singer, songwriter, and Capitol Records executive Johnny Mercer.

"Save the Bones for Henry Jones" is a simple swing tune about the indignations we vegetarians have to deal with.
