This is a follow up on the group of toys I scored lately.
Pic 1: Small tin plate friction tank about 2 1/2" long. Made in Japan by Suzuki. I'm not sure if it's the same Suzuki that makes Motorcycles. I've seen other tin plate with the same markings.
Pic. 2: 4" Sedan marked Japan.
5" Citroen, no markings( got some dings)
Pic. 3: I think it's a early '70s Gran Torino. Made by Funmate(Japan). I remember seeing these at my first job 50 years ago at a grocery store. They were shrink wrapped on Proctor & Gamble Detergents as a give away. They came with a spring launcher, which is missing. A lot of these cars mysteriously "disappeared" from the detergent as I recall.

Cool Tinplates!!! first time i´ve heard about Suzuki in tin toys, did some research: "Suzuki / Suzuki Gangu Seisakusho. Japan. Trademark / Logo = The word "Suzuki" on a motto scroll or band placed across a circle. Small circular notch removed from base of main circle and added to top."
Love that Citroen DS 19, i think its a Haji, also Japanese, the Sedan looks also an Haji piece, never saw those plastic ones before, maybe US market only.
Great score!
Thank you very much Vinyl.
I appreciate all the info Lata. The Citroen was incredibly stylish and futuristic for being introduced in '55. Technology wise it was the first production auto with disc brakes.
