When I bought this plate, I had already envisioned it with any of a number of late Loetz pieces in blue or gold silberiris, two or three handles and rims in the contrasting color [Pic.2] But then I found III-355 described as 8", except this one was a whooping 10.5"[Pics 2-3].
Pic. 8 shows it sporting an enormous silk orchid stem; behind, some of the vases I just mentioned.
