1. Close up of an orchid blossom that looks like a cat with angel wings!
2. Same orchid flower....
3. Flag flying from my balcony.
4. The wandering cat who comes around when the mood strikes him, usually at breakfast time.
He tried out the cat basket a few times - I had high hopes it would meet his expectations but I’ve found him on an old patio chair and also on the seat of the tractor......It has been kind of fun to see where he turns up. :^)
Photo 1 is awesome. Thank you for sharing.

Really sweet pic of the wandering kitty, and that orchid is gorgeous - you have a sharp eye for spotting the cat design
A cat bat, now I have seen everything, but the orchids are beyond reproach, magnifique !~
Charcoal, MALKEY, Keramikos, kwqd, Fortapache, Aura, Newfld...thanks for all the loves!
Charcoal, thanks for commenting! I’m glad to share!
MALKEY, yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder; I even find my garden soil “beautiful” (lol) with all those earth worms that I can’t bear to handle but always rescue if they are in peril.
Keramikos, thanks for all that info- I always learn something from the “snips” - such as the reproductive parts of orchids. I only have about a dozen plants and I was bursting with pride (like a new parent) when a friend gave me her very sickly, near death orchid plant....I merely gave it the conditions it needs and soon, it developed 4 baby plants called “keikis”. Within a few months, the keikis were blooming....I call them my quadruplets...mother and keikis are doing well.
Newfld, I only discovered the cat (or bat)face and wings when I was looking at photos I have just made of the plants beginning their new bloom cycle. Another plant’s flowers have little “monkey” looking designs.
PhilDMorris, thanks for taking the time to comment....that are beautiful flowers at first glance but hiding even more beauty deep inside!
And PhilDMorris, thanks for the love!
cat bat flower,. wait till I tell batman ,...lol cool pic's
glassiegirl, thank you for the lovely comment and it makes me happy to know that I (rather, Mother Nature) made you happy!
This is such an amazing orchid, makes me nostalgic for Hawaii - if only things were back to normal & we could travel safely again!!
Thank you, Newfld, I feel the same way! Hawaii would be a welcome sight....till then, a few orchid plants will have to do. The one pictured here is just about to bloom again with several branching stalks covered with big buds almost ready to open.
