    Native American Stone Ax Head found buried years ago in upstate New York. I never had anybody with Native American artifacts knowledge look at it. I’m hoping someone can tell me their opinion on it. Where I found it was dry and far from water. The almost square base and the flatness on one side doesn’t seem like normal erosion to me. I hope it’s not just a natural rock, I’ve always been curious to found out if it’s Native American. Thanks for looking.

      Looks like a shaft straightener for arrows.

      Thanks Flashlarue, I think your right it does look like a shaft straightener. From what I saw on the internet, mine seems to have much deeper grooves. Maybe it’s older and was used more often.
