Here are three vintage gazelle brooches - a 2 1-4"L black enamel on goldtone by Trifari (founded 1918) ca 1970s, a 2 1-4"W pink rhinestone on goldtone mesh by BSK (1948-1983) ca 1960s, and a 2 1-2"W black enamel with rhinestone collar that is unmarked with vintage roller clasp
I adore these Erte-style gazelles! They seem so fun and playful and all are in very dynamic frolicking poses- definitely on the lookout for something :P (my favourite is the one with the large horns- he looks a bit more like a mountain goat I think?!)
What a great design trio. Elegant black enamel. They look perfect. Great finds!
Nice gazelle collection. I think my fave is the black with rhinestone neck
Gazelle, even the word is pretty.
I love the mesh one!
Thank you all so much for the love

Mary thank you for the wonderful kind praise, I enjoyed finding these three uncommon wild animals & couldn't choose a favorite so here is the trio :) They are rather fun designs at that, have alot of movement
Thanks Lauren for the lovely compliments you are so right, I can see the Erte influence especially in the black Trifari. They had better be on the lookout, although gazelles are fast runners they can always be caught by a cheetah! I also see the mountain goat in the head of the unmarked one, what I really love about that one is its rhinestone neck
Thanks Maureen for the fab compliments, the black gazelles do have an elegance and all are in great condition for age, I was very lucky esp with the hard to find BSK
MrsT thank you so much for the great compliment, I am pretty partial to that stylish unsigned black one with rhinestones too it sparkles beautifully
Thanks Karen and you're right, the word gazelle is very pretty and beats some of the other names for this animal type like antelope (which sounds rather like interloper, you know!), all the sellers called these gazelles so they're a family & thought a group photo best. The golden mesh BSK came first I love that too, with its lovely pink rhinestone accents and rarity
Thanks Daisy and TexasJack for the love, it is so nice of you & very much appreciated
Thank you Calneva58 for the love it is greatly appreciated
Ken thank you for the great compliments & love for my gazelles, I have to agree the Trifari has the most style it looks almost like art deco, but couldn't they have added a bit of bling to it for my sake - you know how I love the rhinestone touch :)
Thanks so very much Sean for the love and support, you are wonderfully kind to me and it means a great deal
Hoot thank you so, so much for the love and support I am sincerely grateful & glad you enjoyed these sprinters
