He's a very cool fish! He's by far my favourite of your uploads this week- I love his rather ancient and strange qualities...He looks like he could easily be one of Poseidon's pets? Or at least his shocked expression makes him seem like he could be on some kind of tapestry?
Love the Fish!!
Nice color on this marlin!
It's a beautiful hand worked fish! I love glass that shows an artist's tools. No No! I didn't mean like THAT!!!
Really appreciate the love everyone

Lauren I'm delighted this was a fave post of mine for you, thank you so much for the always lovely compliments. Yes this fish certainly has a surprised look, and love to think of him with Poseidon or on a tapestry, makes him seem all the more special
Thanks iggy for the super compliment I was hoping you would enjoy this glass fish, looks rather like he's just been caught doesn't he. It is one of the 60s classics that are really hard to come by, I just got lucky recently, have been on a glass fish search lately and have found a few for future posts that I also hope you like
MrsT thank you for the great praise, I too love the avocado green it looks really good in this crackle glass - it's funny, the American glassmakers usually only did fish in crackle glass, rarely other animals though it did appear in vases & such
Lol Karen, my smile for the day, I do get it!! When you think about the complexity involved with this hand made fish it's mind boggling, and yet the finished product is so perfect. Thank you for the fab comment my friend :)
Jenni, I think your marlin (Marlon the Marlin?) might have a friend in this mystery fish of mine (Marin's martian marlin)... :-)

Your pink marlin is so gorgeous Marin, it certainly could be a friend of mine lol! Yours is so much more elegant and I love the casing which does make me think vintage Murano - I moved again recently and both of my green cased Murano Goldoni figures broke beyond repair, heartbreaking but at least I have the post to remember them by
