    This is a mystery to me. Beautiful design but I am not sure where this comes from. ...Asia??It looks like a dagger? Is it silver design? I am not sure of the age.

      Not sure why you think this has anything to do with Ghurkas... It is not like anything that I have seen tied to Ghurkas or Nepal. No idea of the origin of this knife. It is pretty fancy and impractical for a working knife, perhaps for ceremonial use?

      It is a Phia-Kaetta from Sri Lanka (Ceylon). Fairly uncommon. Nice find for sure.
