      Looks Middle Eastern, hard to say what accessories they used in their culture and for what exactly. We can guess, but it would be great if we could find something similar. I recognise the style, but have no idea about the use. Incense?

      Can you post a few more photos? Box open, the bottom, etc. Any markings? Is there an insert, glass perhaps? any corrosion inside?
