French designer Henri-Victor Miault was born in 1881 - 1960. This art nouveau necklace was probably made circa 1900. It’s a very elegant design with slender open wire work which represents grass seeds. I think the model Folle avoine which translates to wild oats.
The necklace is 18ct Gold with 2 facetted amethyst, their are marks on the front left hand side unfortunately I can’t read them.
Looking at Henri-Victor Miault work there is in my opinion no denying that it his is work. I would be interested in what you think.
Many thanks for looking
Hi Jean :-)
Nice necklace!
Even if the wild oats motif can look similar, I don't think it is Miault... the oats construction isn't consistant with his work. He carved the oats when yours are little parts soldered.
He signed his work too...
A pendant signed

Hi Pascale, there are markings on the front but I can’t make the marks out. I must admit I don’t know his work, I bought the necklace because I fell in love with it, the necklace is very delicate and feminine.
When I look at the link you sent I can’t really see the difference except the oats are more closed on my necklace. I’ll do some more research, see if I come up with more of Folle avoine. Has always thanks for your comment it’s very must appreciated, and stay safe.
Many thanks
