I love to collect jewellery that can be worn today that is not too ostentatious or precious to wear. Recently I have become very interested in Arts and Crafts silver / gemstone jewellery and designers of such pieces. I should emphasize that it is antique and vintage pieces that have captured my interest. I live in Australia but visit my family in the UK whenever I am able. Last year was one of those occasions. I attended a lovely antique fair in Stamford , situated on the meadow.... just a lovely day. I found a single earring on one of the stands that took my fancy so much that I purchased it , wildly spending one pound to secure it ???? This single earring was the seed sown for my interest , I just had to find out who, where and when . I will post an image of the earring if anyone is interested to see it. So starts this journey for me, a lot to learn and loving every minute! (Read more)
