    Bought these rocks at a junk store in this wooden box. They are very shiny and they are extremely heavy,even the small ones. I don't understand that.

      It says that particular one is some sort of crystal and some say meteorite with a question mark. They are so heavy for Thier size.

      Lead sulfide Galena crystals
      a primary source for Lead
      Not as a vitamin
      That’s why they are so heavy

      Galena, Kansas is where the name of the ore came from because of the large lead mines there.

      Thanks Flashlarue! This time yesterday I was not in the know about these rocks and today I can speak to them. CW is fantastic and the people that are on it are AWESOME!
