That trunk is a big one, nice to see these colours used and the controlled bubbles make this a beauty !~
Big trunk - lots of good luck - very nice!
Very nice- he's very elongated in certain areas and stretched out and yet bunched up in other ways- this odd shape is very surreal and reminds me of something Salvador Dali might paint?! I also love the calm and restful orange at his centre,.. ooh yes, and raised trunks are good luck!
It's interesting you have this Jenni.
Mantorp made great glass but they are certainly an uncommon brand.
She's a great elephant, well made!
Thanks everyone for the very kind love

Phil thank you for the wonderful compliments, I too really love the controlled bubbles in this elephant and the nice splash of color, they gave the trunk a bit of realism too with the flared snout that really catches the eye
Thank you Hoot for the super compliment, the trunk is very cool and I hope its upward tilt will be lucky for me & actually for everyone lifting all these restrictions
Lol Lauren it is a rather surreal elephant, I like to test my animals by showing them to my husband & saying "what animal is this" and he guessed wrong here! I think if the whole piece had color you could see more definition, but I do love his clear waving ears they are cute. Great imaginative comment again, thank you so much!
Thank you Karen for the kind praise and thoughtful words about Mantorp, yes their glass animals are uncommon and I found them by expanding from American glass to other countries & was glad to find many Swedish and British cos made pretty animals too - of course there is always Italy's Murano but usually their vintage animals cost a fortune esp if you find one with a label. I still try to show more US made animals but I'm running out of the colored glass ones, the plain clear and frosted don't show up as well in my photos
Thanks Thomas for the always kind love and support, you are a wonderful caring friend who always remembers me & I'm very grateful :)
Many thanks Daisy for the love and support it is always totally appreciated
Nice mix of the orange and clear glass to make a statement
