    Hey trunk lovers !
I came across this one the other day and I was wondering what you would think about it...
Any idea of its age and maker ?
Seems to me it could be pretty nice with some cleaning and brushing - especially the embossed tin (looks like there is only one handle to repair).
That being said, what do you think would be a fair price for it ?
Good Sunday to you all - for me, back to sanding my Drucker trunk ;)

Nice trunk, I would say mid to late 1880's, without a label hard to say who the makers was, this was a common style trunk made by many makers, the hardware on this trunk was used by all trunk makers, should look nice when your done.

Again, thank you very much for your expertise, greendog (your knowledge about trunks is impressive!)
      ;)

Thank you GeorgesD, I have acquired my knowledge of trunks mostly from Jim Cardoza at HMS Antique Trunks, and from others here on the CW, its a never ending process of learning.
