      I have the same clock for 30 years, it will only keep time for as few hours. I was told that it just needs minor repair.

      Nice little Ansonia Dover model ca 1904 and later. The fact that the hands are held on by a nut as opposed to tapper pin makes it after 1900.

      Thanks for the info! It’s my 1st antique clock. Fell in love w the look of it and had to have it. It hasn’t been set yet but the previous owner did provide extensive directions on how to get it going...also mentioned that it worked well/kept good time. Guess I shall see! Thanks again for the info!
