I got this spoon today at a thrift shop and would like to know more about. Is it silver? It's marked Pat. applied for and a number either a 6 or a 9

This is from the post, incase it goes away! :^D

Art Nouveau silver plated sugar shell or jam spoon in the Nenuphar pattern, 1905, American Silver Company, Later International. It has a high Art Nouveau design motif of water lilies and lily pads, and the faint remains of a gold wash to the bowl. It measures a hair under 6 inches long. Very good condition for age, some heel wear to the high points on the back of the bowl
