Hello! I would greatly appreciate any thoughts on the possible brand of this vintage doll. We found it in a box of my grandmother's dolls, all from the 1940s-1970s. It's 24 inches long, blond, red lips. There are no markings anywhere on the doll. The clothing is a knit sweater/pants/booties set, with a small tag in the sweater that says, "Bambi60." I did not have any luck searching that doll clothing brand. She's not in the best shape, but we'd love to be able to identify her! Thank you so much.

I can tell you she is Italian made by her look . Several companies produced these types of dolls in Italy and often not marked they just had a hang tag on wrist . The clothes do not appear to be original rather a real babies clothes were put on her .

I am surprised at the dry hair however , Italian dolls usually retained their hair better . Her face appears faded .She would have been dressed most likely in a dress and common to see in long gowns also . Could they wig be a replacement ? Does she have a voice box in stomach ? I am dating her 1950s-early 60's
