    This has the characteristics of logging tongs but a short arm so it doesn’t open wide enough to grab a decent caliber log.

    Chain, a socket for an arm? and a clip to hold the chain it seems. Seems way too small for forestry.

      Put a wooden handle in that round hole above the jaws and you have a double jaw cant hook.

      I used them on the back of my tractor to lift one end of the log to drag it to the pile to cut for firewood on to mill...ya you could take the chain off and put a wooden handle ...as well or hook it on a tractor bucket hook ....lol

      Yes they work very well on a three point hitch on a tractor to drag logs out.
