My dad passed away last year. This old motorcycle was on his back porch. Don't know for sure but think it is a Honda. Does anybody know for sure? needs a lot of work but would be really pretty if somebody fixed it up...My daddy worked as a carpenter. He was 76 years old when he was robbed and killed. Such a good man. Loved God and spreading the word of God. I miss him sooooo. He loved to collect old stuff. I do too. If anybody knows what kind of bike this is, please let me know. Thanks.

This looks like a Honda CB or CL probably 350. I had a 1968 CB 160 when I was a kid. Before I had a license.I used to ride it everywhere road and trails. It was a tank.I kick myself for leaving it behind when my mother sold the house.

BTW I am so sorry about your Dad.Sometimes it's hard to keep faith in the human race. Also these bikes have become fairly collectable.

These were called the "Honda Dream" and were either 160 or 305 CC, like Hedgewalker said they are fairly collectable if you want to get rid of it but they make avery nice ride fixed up also......Your local Honda Dealer can help you....for the price.

Yes ...That is definately it Pop abides.I believe this is the 305.If I remember right the Dreams had the chrome tank while the basic CB had a painted one.Mine was blue. And you are also correct although a bit small (cc wise) mine was a very nice ride.

Here's a link to a site with a lot of these 'Dreams',:::::::http://www.honda305.com/fr/cb77_F12.htm Good luck whatever you decide.....

That looks to be an early 305 Honda Dream...the fully enclosed chain guard reminds me IIRC.
Also IIRC this was the first Japanese production bike to do 100 MPH; can you imagine doing 100 on THAT?!?

      Odds are it's still restorable.
Sorry to hear about your dad.

It's a 60's Honda CA77 305 Dream. I've just recently purchaced a 65 model basket case that makes yours look fairly new. Their top speed is about 80mph and they don't handle worth a crap at that speed but they're fun to ride. If you need any help restoring it let me know. Sorry about your Dad sounds like a good man. I still have my Dad's old Moto Guzzi. He owned one of these Dreams for a couple of years. I look forward to gettin' mine runnin' but it's hard to find parts.
