      Hi I would be careful of the old labels on the front, that's what makes it super cool, never heard of Jenney oil .

      Don't Clean leave as-is!!!! Nice Old Piece!!! Jenney is from Boston Ma.

      Jenney is a New England Company started selling Whale Oil in the 1850's. Nice Find!!! LOOK it up!!! I posted a few signs I've Had$$$ Leave as is!!!

      I agree w/the others Marie-- even if it is a wee bit to naturally 'greasy' for your taste, it took it *many* years of useful service to get there and if you go to scrubbing on it all that'll be gone forever...also don't forget that if it all is kinda greasy (as it should be) that's *also* protecting it (in a way) from otherwise getting rusty. ;-)

      Find a nice spot in your barn to display it as-is!! :-) :-) :-)
