Four more pics of the old hulk of a pickup in my sister-in-law's pasture (showed a couple days ago) for all y'all that might be interested.

Other CW friends commenting there have identified it for me as a 1956 Chevrolet 3100 stepside (shortbed?) and my original post will shortly be edited to reflect the further info -- THANKS, Y'ALL!!! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Well bb2, there's 'bedsprings', 'seatsprings', and lots of accidental 'leaves', at least...frankly I never got down on my hands and knees to see what holds its back axle on...?? <LOL>

THANKS SO MUCH to vetraio50, yougottahavestuff, fortapache, blunderbuss2, Newfld, iggy, Brunswick, and Cokeman1959 for the <love it>s for round two of the pics!! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

OH, and PS -- I'm also not sure whatever that metal thing poking out under its rear LH side (pic 3) actually used to be its back bumper, or if that's just a spurious other piece of scrap iron...??

Was there a battle on that field & this is the monument ? LOL !! Just jerking your chain ! "Spurious". I like that ! Yeah, I looked it up to be sure. LMAO !!!

<LOL> and THANKS to bb2 for the further fun comment!! Yes it does show assorted obvious evidence of having been 'target practice', but I think its just an ordinary pasture...? ;-) :-) :-)

More THANKS to RichmondLori, charcoal, Manikin, & Trunkman for your <love it> button taps!! :-) :-) :-)
