    this piece actually had a beat-up old Murano label

    I used a Water-pik dental device to thoroughly clean the bubbles that were exposed on the bottom

    really like the colour

      Gorgeous blue color, great piece it looks to be one of Murano's earlier ashtray designs possibly a Seguso

      I was thinking the bubble pattern is like the perforated holes on a golf glove

      It is a great colour, and the Venetians made such nice shapes.
      I have never seen one before where the holes broke through the case. Must have had quite a polish done over the pontil!

      probably the silver foil label this way does, not make sense for a Seguso
