The pottery you are referring to is south american, and I live in Spain, so it's not something with which I am familiar.
I have searched google (in spanish) and found this:
      http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330497518916
      and this:
      http://esp.ebay.com/viewItem?item=370282134189&v=gbh
Both are signed by Candelaria Suazo.
And this, from Mata Ortiz Ceramics, in Mexico. Prices are in mexican pesos.
      http://www.artesania-magica.com.mx/products-page/ceramica-mata-ortiz/olla-en-gota-dos-bocas-con-asa/
I don't know if this last one is signed, but that is all the help I can give you. I will keep searching for a while and let you know if I find anything else.

San Ildefonso Black Polished Wedding Vase is what i found to be similar on http://www.indianrivergallery.com and also Black: Tewa, likely Santa Clara Double Spouted Jar, c. 1910 on Lyn Fox Fine Pueblo Pottery website. The bottom of my vase is scratched it old the woman gave it to me more than 25yrs ago and she was 80 then and she said her mother gave her, i am going to a pottery appraisor if that exist or christies or sothebys someone reputable to really examine it. i want to really know the value but i have to identify which artist is truly is. your very helpful thank you.

Santa Clara actually refers to a pueblo, a tribe of New Mexico, not a person. Its called 'blackware' and its a wedding vase. Without a signature, it is impossible to tell if its by Maria Martinez, since there aren't any distinguishing designs or styles or motifs. Any appraiser will tell you the same thing. Sorry : [

These are not great pictures to examine but the fact that it is not signed does not rule out Maria Martinez. she did not sign her early pieces between 1918-1923. She also did some pieces that she did not have her husband Julian decorate because he is the one who did the decorating.
I'd keep that piece in a safe place and have it looked up by a reputable people in person.
This could be a nice prized piece of Native American Pottery.
