Gemstone cat eye or moonstone? Native American?

Is this clear ring a cat eye or Moonstone? It is super heavy and the stone is huge. The turquoise ring is signed D.S. and looks like it's Native American. I couldn't find the exact signature. Both test as unmarked sterling silver
