This is a sunroom in our 1925 home. Out of most of the houses on our street, we are the only house that still has the original double hung windows. This room has the most windows out of any other room in the house. We are almost done restoring these (which involves sanding, re glazing and repainting and preparing the Jambs) and hope to fix other windows in the house too.

The old house (similar vintage) I lived in for years also had a wonderful (two actually, one on the 1st floor and mine on the 2nd) big room which had two glorious walls of 4 each (maybe slightly wider than yours?) of windows just like those.
[we put storm windows on the outside of 'em all instead of actually restoring them...winter drafts aren't a huge thing here...] ;-)
