Hello! I have this patch in a frame and I have no idea what it is for. It has written on the back that it's from WW2 and from another patch it was inferred that the person served in the 111th Tactical Recon Squad but nothing online looks like this patch? I'm stumped, and my Google Fu is seemingly at an end. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated - thank you!

Air Force tactical combat recon. I believe their original patch was a carrier pigeon back before WWII. You might try Military WIKI to research it.
