Here's an American Plastic Bricks Set #715 by Halsam Products Company. Halsam also made building blocks, dominoes, checkers, etc. I've seen these before, but this is in nice shape, missing a minor "paving stone", but with extra bricks. Legoish but looser fitting. I've had a few of these before, but they're always about half empty. It's got a complete decent manual and this is the first one I seen with the roof sections present.
Since this was the first complete one I've ever had, I decided to build the Newly Weds' Bungalow and Suburban Ranch House on page 5. These construction sets are just like Erector Sets, Tinker Toys, etc. You never have enough of the big pieces to complete the bigger projects, you have to use a lot of a little pieces.
Great job Mr. ToyReb I have a couple of these sets ,if I have one of those paving stones I’ll send it on to you free of charge
Just out of curiosity how long did it take you to set up and build
You did a fine job building that. Never was any good at those myself.
A friend had a partial set with a Paving Stone, but thanks Vinyl. It took about 45 minutes to build. It would have been shorter but I kept knocking walls over I'd completed, it was made for smaller hands.
Thank you very much, Apache I've always liked building with blocks, Erectors, Lincoln Logs, Tinkertoys toys, etc. I learned a lot building the bungalow that helped me out on the ranch house.
Glad you had a childhood flashback, keramikos, I love 'em. I didn't have one but I remember seeing them. I see these around a lot, they must have been fairly popular.
