Acquired this beauty from a well known website and was intrigued by the possible age of this coin. What would tell me it's not Alexander 111 and is over 2200 years old. It weighs 36.1 grams and is approximatel 3cm in diameter.
Thank you Broochman for the love.
Cheers fortapache, Jenni, britinpa, aura, vetraio50, TreasureHunter-1, elanski and truthordare for the loves.
Cheers Vynil33rpm and blunderbuss2 for the loves.
Alexander the Great (336-323 BC), Silver Drachm. Reverse: Zeus enthroned holding eagle and sceptre. Original can be found for less than $ 200, but if much cheaper than that it is a replica for decoration in jewelry.
Thanks Ivan. I bought this one for £22.00 it's in a fantastic condition so its probably a fake, but a very nice fake.
Cheers Watchsearcher.
Thank you kwqd for the love.
