I'm not an expert on american flyer .never owned any. but the name danger signal caught my attention because of a silent movie i saw on TCM entitled danger lights. this american flyer model looks similar to the "star" locomotive in the film. if you haven't seen this film you should. it has some excellent footage from the 30's. If it comes on tcm again I'd definitely watch it ! Just a point of curiosity. Hope you can find this film if interested. it was released in 1933 i believe? Like your model. Don't model anymore since I began to run the prototypes but i still love model trains. best wishes.
