      I don't know why, but I get the impression that this is a German soldier- WWII - thats just my opinion.

      Thanks for all comments, could be German solder because a number of Germans used to live in this area before my time.

      He looks more WW I to me. The ties on the legs, the panshaped helmet...maybe canadian?

      It appears to be from a home foundry home casting kit due to the flat base and lack of shape
