I think that this little vase is Japanese nerikomi from the early 20th century, possibly by Banko. I wish i could decipher the mark on the base, but it's kind of strange. I love the little yellow 'ear' handles! What do you all think? it's just a little over 3 inches high.

i got the translation of the mark: it is Yokkaichi-Banko ware. the translation means 'Forever' and was used on Banko.

Thank you keramikos. I did get the virus and pulled through. It was scarey at times and painful at others, but i feel very grateful for having pulled through it. It is rampant in my community.
