My mother was gifted this little vase about 50 years ago. It is embellished with silver. I have looked for similar items but I haven't found another like it. Does anyone know anything about it?

Hi Linnib, welcome to CW! :^D It's a beautiful little vase, is the vase Pottery, or something else? Could you show the bottom it please, for a mark, or type of finish. Thanks for showing, I hope somebody can help you! :^)

You might want to search for a Moroccan Silver Inlaid Ceramic Vase, similar, and maybe a start! :^)

      Here's something else:

      Good Luck! :^)

Thank you! I found some images of some glass vases that had similar silver overlays.

I posted a picture of the bottom. I don't see any markings. It is made from an iridescent greenish glass.

Thank you Linda(if I may), I thought it was pottery but I can see from the bottom view, that it's a frosted green clear glass. and now knowing that, I can see it through the top in the first photo! I think if add that it's a Glass Vase with Silver inlay, someone will probably help you with a Maker, and Age! Thanks again, and Good Luck! :^)

It may be Loetz Glass from early 1900, here's a google image search:

      https://www.google.com/search?q=small+antique+loetz+iridescent+green+glass+cabinet+vase+with+an+etched+silver+overlay+design&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwi39d3EypXqAhVBja0KHSefB7IQ2-cCegQIABAA&oq=small+antique+loetz+iridescent+green+glass+cabinet+vase+with+an+etched+silver+overlay+design&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQDDoECCMQJ1CqixRYqK4UYIr0FWgAcAB4AIAB8wGIAZ8GkgEFMC41LjGYAQCgAQGqAQtnd3Mtd2l6LWltZw&sclient=img&ei=X7nwXvfJNsGatgWnvp6QCw&bih=615&biw=1217&hl=en

I don't know why the Loetz Glass people here, haven't said anything about it though! :^)

Oh my!! The lady that gave it to her said to put it on a high shelf. According to the link you sent I would say she was correct. Thank You!!

Eileen, you're so nice! :^D Are you hitchin' a ride from my #1 Mary, if she makes it up here? I'll try to make room at the Flea Market for the both of you! :^)
