Here's a 2nd likewise amazing thing recently inherited. Like the other just shown, it's also had a look-over by a real jeweler to confirm that most likely everything about it is absolutely real -- in this case just one big shiny rock set in a mostly solid (yellow?) gold setting which is indeed marked as such (along with a whole bunch of other marks I know nothing about) as shown in pic 3. This one weighs roughly 9.1g total.
Pic 4 here shows it again on my 'wedding ring finger', where it also just happens to fit...chances might be very good that this one might have really belonged to the way-long-now deceased father of the original owner of the #1 ring I just showed...so I'm left wondering even how much older it might be than the other...??

14 K stands for gold fineness .585.
1/60 could be the size of stone (diamond, most likely).
If so,its diameter measured across should be 5.4 mm,meaning its size is 0.6 carat.
Thank you VERY MUCH for your most informative comment IVAN49. It's stone is indeed (as best as I can measure it) just about 6mm across so sounds to me like you're probably spot on. :-) Does anything about it happen to suggest a possible age range to it??
Thanks also going to vetraio50, fortapache, IVAN49, & aura for tapping your <love it> buttons! :-) Now I suppose I really should give it a little careful 'clean/polish' to find out how much shinier it might really become...??
;-) :-)
