More from my 1948 Boy Scout5s of America Calendar from 1948. The first two photos are from the page for the month and the other two are from the backsides. There is a page for every month. Many calendars back then would have one photo and then tear off the month when the month was over.
First up is a flag ceremony. Seems to be quite the production.
Next a bridge made out of wood. Looks like a lot of work like something Steve Scout would make.
After that What is a Boy Scout? He is all that.
Last some ideas for Cub Scouts. We used to glue macaroni on cigar boxes and paint them gold.
Great photos, thanks for posting. I was in the Cub Scouts for a short time, and we did the same thing with the cigar box. We had 2 color choices, silver, or gold, I spray painted mine silver!!!
Thank you very much Iptools. I do not recall us having silver. We were lower budget.
