yes it is Satsuma. This the same of the place where this type of ceramic was made in Japan, and also the style of this type of ceramic, with the motifs and phand painted decorations. You can look up what that is.

This one also has the cross in a circle, which is the Satsuma family clan symbol or mon, in Japan every family had one. Today they are not used as much, but they were important for the imperial families and the aristocrats.

Well a good assesment probably by my Nemesis TOD, the MON ( the round cross) gives it partly

I am in chinese not in japanese so i can,t substantiate, and i lack the skill,
we are odds up for good stuff , gold mark ) did,not scrutinised)

detailed sort of the cilia of the hair, and the darker differentiation

The gold around got a differentation outerlayer ( nimbus differentiatie , compared to the shining later post bellum pieces

the shaping is surprising, bulged pierced eyes , pierced eyes, FANTASTIC

social antroposofical i don,t know Probably a RAKAN SCENE ,9 holy men with group , maybe acolites ( don,t know the spiritual rules about the nimbus maybe 500 Rakan scene

type of fin the siecle meijji ,theoratically maybe early Taisho , but IMO less likely

      fantastic well done
