Found this nice Cloisonne bowl with its lid and wooden stand. Made of bronze it looks like cherry blossoms on a mountaintop or volcano with birds flying around. I wonder if it’s a Chinese or Japanese scene.
I will say it's likely Chinese. If TruthorDare disagrees I will happily be corrected. Lisa knows cloisonne.
Wired cells with a close pattern and blue interior and brass rimmed lid.
Nice,I like this one lots.
Sometimes staying quiet is best, in this case I have to agree with Karen, it is Chinese, mid to late 20th century, very nice workmanship.
The motif is the blue rock of life on pale enamel standard cloisonne background, Chinese symbolic folklore, with the spring blossoms of a fruit tree sprouting from it, with ruyie heads formed garland at rims.
