This bowl is about 12" in diameter and 3" high. The inside is smooth and very polished and the outside is rough and textured. There is a raised line, like a mold line around the base. I don't really see a theme or design to the outside. It seems pretty random. As soon as I saw it, I thought it must be Finnish glass as it is very similar to my Finnish glass, except it is colored. If not Finnish or Swedish, I thought it must be Scandinavian. A search of Finnish and Swedish and then Scandinavian glass turned up nothing, though.Does anyone know who made this bowl?

I did find a similar bowl on Etsy, but the maker was not known and the seller estimated that it was produced in the 1980s....

I have a very similar bowl, which I think may be Spanish. It's something you can look into anyway.

I see this type of Bowl once in a while Kevin, I think it's a newer one, but I like them a lot. Someone just posted one similar not long ago, I'll see if I can find it and put a link! Thank you for posting this one! :^)

Thank you Sir! Finishing on these bowls is pretty nice, except for what appears to be a faint mold line on the bottom. I guess it could be Chinese, but it sure looks Scandinavian to me.... I'm still not quite used to the improved quality glass out of China and all the variety of work I am seeing from them, so not my first guess on complexly made and finished glass. I tried AdeleC's Spanish suggestion and couldn't find anything similar, yet.
