A shirt I picked up at the Long Beach Antique Market for $10. Good supply of patches here. I added the service stars otherwise it is at it came. Even the red shoulder tabs and troop numbers have value. Now on with the patches.
Photo #2 oops I mean fig.2. The Tenderfoot rank patch and arrow of light with the new blended patch still used today. The background on the patch is tan like the shirt. Looks a bit green in the photo but it is tan.
Next is the left shoulder council patch. This one is Mid-Iowa Council. Perhaps they could add the American Pickers to it. Got an extra "50" stripe along with the standard red numbers. The red numbers have been consistent since the early days with minor variations.
Wrapping it up with an exciting figure 4 is the right shoulder. There is the flag patch, blended version of the Cobra Patrol patch and 1991 and 1992 Quality Unit patches which gives the right sleeve more to do. Originally it was just the patrol patch.
Got a nice vintage item for next week and working on another for next next week.
Nice selection of badges for just $10
Thank you very much elanski. The shirt is worth at least $10 alone.
