As a young child in the 1950's, I was told by my mom that these were cake charms and were very old. This is just a few in the
collection. They are made of metal. They consist of hearts, bible, shoes, old fashioned ice skates, guns, people, rings like
wedding bands, what looks like a game piece or dreidel, an oil can, thimbles, violin, horn animals, and other things. My
mother kept these in a tin cookie can in the kitchen. She may have put them on my birthday cake, I don't remember. My
dad was born in 1900 and my mom in 1910, so if they were passed down to them, they must be pretty old by now. Any
other information about them would be great. I could not fit all the pictures of them here.
Also on the item that looks like a dreidel, it has a 5 pointed star, and P4, T1, P3 and T3 on each side as you turn it. Maybe it is suppose to look like a game piece?
Wedding Cake Pull Charms, here's some information on them and the Tradition:

I hope this helps! Take Care, and Wear a Mask! :^)
Thank you! That was very informative! I never would have found that!
P.S. I always wear my mask:)
Actually it was easy, I just did a image search for Cake Charms, and Cake Pull Charms, came up, so just searched How are Cake Pull Charms used, and just picked the best one to answer what you wanted to know! :^D
So you can mark this one solved also! I always like to remind to Wear a Mask, so they remember to put it on when they go out, because if this COVID19 isn't stopped I'm not the only one that can't go Bowling! Take Care, I'll be looking for your next post, no promises for a solve though! :^)
Just posted a new mystery under cameras.
Also, I still want to know what that dreidel shape charm is, if anyone has a clue on
that??
Hey Bill,
I posted an oil painting under fine art. Any clues on this that you can give
would be helpful:)
