The one on the bottom left in the top right picture is very interesting.
blunderbuss2....I know I need to focus...focus Daniel son....I am just attracted to it all and I LOVE it:) I appreciate you!
Phonoboy.....Thanks for looking and loving! Can it be as simple as me buying a ink pad and putting the stamps in the ink and putting on paper? There are several of those particular stamps that you mentioned.
I think the prosses is a little more involved. You have to remove the excess ink. They were used in printing. I believe this may help. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photogravure
I found this. https://youtu.be/0HkvxnO22s4
Phonoboy...All I can say is Wow! I watched the video and went to the link that you provided. Thank you for that! There are several of those stamps and I would love to see the images. The process looks complicated but if I could find someone that did that it would be worth the cost of admission. I am going to study it some more and if I get adventurous and the supplies are readily available I might even attempt it. I sure do Appreciate you!
You are most welcome. I would love to see the results.
These are standard printing blocks that fit the old linotype printing machines.
Thanks Congcu for the information and for stopping by. Appreciate you all!
Those are nice
