Hello, I have been trying to figure out what this is for a while now. Does anyone know what this is? The curved piece at the end, and the sides, are sharp. The back edge of the flat part, (what I am guessing is the bottom), is also sharp. It is 21-1/2" long, and the open area with the sharp sides measures approx. 2" x 5-1/2". Stay safe everyone, please!! Regards, Lou
My first thought was a forge scraper. The flat to scrape the pan and the rounded end to scrape the grates.
my first look tell me its for ,... drum roll please ,.. removing shingles ,the hook on the end is to hang it on a ladder...lol got to change my drugs...
my last guest + a half one, would be a de barker for logs ...or for cleaning out slag from boilers or fire boxes....lol good luck cool find..
could be use to clean fat off cow hide's..just saying ..have a great day..
but then Ii look again and think sod cutter...who knows...lol later
Hello, Thanks for the comments, great guesses that I will try to track down!!
Hello, Roycroft. So far, sod cutter makes the most sense, but I could not find a match.I had thought agricultural/horticulture tool when I first saw it, but again, no way to verify. Regards, Lou
