Found these at a antique store that is going out of business, everything was 70% off. Paid $10 for the cake stand and $5 for the hen. just wondering who made them or if there is a way to tell.

    thanks!

I've been trying to find attribution on the cake stand too, but so far no confirmation. There are thoughts that it could be made by Indiana Glass, but then those are just thoughts when you get down to it.

There are tons of "milk glass hen on nest" pieces out there. Unless they are marked it can be difficult to ID.

Thanks TallCakes! I did confirm that my hen on basket is from indiana glass. somewhere between the 1960's to 1990's. We use it as a butter dish and my daughter thinks its fantastic. As far as the cake stand, I am still looking as well. I swear it weighs 10 pounds and I just love it

well, someone just listed one of these on eBay today with a 'Colony' foil sticker and in at 'Pitman-Dreitzer' box. From what I understand Pitman-Dreitzer was part of Lancaster Colony.
