My collections are quite diverse. Here is a couple of unusual patches. These are real and I've owned them for years. I purchased the Infantry patch from the daughter of a soldier.
The Atomic Defense Command (1947 - 1959)...also called, The Armed Forces Special Weapons Project (AFSWP) was a United States military agency responsible for those aspects of nuclear weapons remaining under military control after the Manhattan Project was succeeded by the Atomic Energy Commission on 1 January 1947. These responsibilities included the maintenance, storage, surveillance, security and handling of nuclear weapons, as well as supporting nuclear testing.
The 66th Infantry Division was a unit of the United States Army during World War II. Activated 15 April 1943, the division trained at Camp Blanding, Florida, and was later transferred to Camp Robinson, Arkansas and then later to Camp Rucker, Alabama before being shipped overseas to England on 26 November 1944

My Father in law was in charge of Camp Blanding before retirement.
